Sherlock Holmes Vol. 1 Book Series Review

I bought this novel about a year ago, but i haven't finished it yet, read already a half a book.I bought it about Rp.90k-Rp98k (don't really remember the number) at Periplus Plaza Senayan, they distributed imported book.

 this is the back, hope you can read the back synopsis well.

For me, A Study in Scarlet and A Sign of Four are the longest stories from this vol. 1, and the story is kinda heavy and complex, which is good...i really enjoyed reading these stories. the other stories are also good but not as long as the two top stories i put before.

(A young woman came to Holmes. told him about her sister sudden death in her room, she suspicious about something what her sister told her before her death, it's about Speckled Band she found in her room at night when she awake at a mid night and she heard some voices. well, the story is a kind of wealthy family type story. The speckled band is exactly a snake)
The Adventure of Engineer's Thumb

(The engineer deceived by a man to fix a machine, he told by a woman who worked there that he got to leave, the woman was really worried, and he found out something fishy about that man doing, he trapped and succeeded to escape, but his thumb got cut, and the man and his servants just escaped, Holmes failed)

The Adventure of  the Noble Bachelor

You can see this book is kinda thick..LOL..i think it's about 5cm, and i couldn't really bear to read british classic novels, this novel is kinda heavy,  i was about to throw up.

Actually already 2 of them, but i haven't read the second book yet, even though i could skip book vol. 1, but i like to read them orginizingly.
